In April, nearly 90 clubs spanning eight countries had the opportunity to connect directly with ECA executives for updates and valuable insights at the latest round of ECA Club Meet Ups. Led by ECA’s Membership Department, the Club Meet Up initiative strives to foster unity and positive transformation by bringing clubs of all sizes and backgrounds together. We're also thrilled to announce that in April, as a result of ECA’s growing membership, now with over 600 clubs, we also boast 100% representation of both Serbian and Luxembourg clubs. Our second panel in Madrid at today’s ECA Club Connect discussed the risks and opportunities of social media platforms. 🤳 Moderated by our host, David Garrido, our expert panel; Ian Nolan, Chief Content Officer at Manchester United; ex-football player Lianne Sanderson; and Maria Laura Scuri, VP Labs & Community Integrity at ESL FACEIT Group - EFG discussed the role of clubs in tackling online abuse. They explored support systems and communities for individuals facing online abuse, highlighting the importance of acknowledging both the opportunities and threats of online platforms. #ECAClubConnect #WeAreECA #HeartofFootball
